Genus
Dromicoida
1 species
On the muddy lakeshores of West Africa, *Dromicoida* fields a single, copper-metallic species barely 9 mm long. Found in Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso, it haunts clay-pan and laterite margins where few tiger beetles venture. Its oval build and gleaming dorsum set it apart from all sympatric Cicindelina.
Diagnosis
DIAGNOSIS — *Dromicoida* Werner, 1995. Monotypic; body 8–10 mm, oval (L:W < 2.0), fully winged. Dorsum metallic. Eyes large; labrum transverse. Habitat: muddy lakeshores, clay-pan, compacted laterite (West Africa). Separation from sympatric Cicindelina by aedeagal morphology; no confusion genera recorded.
