Genus

Ronhuberia

2 species

Hidden along leaf-littered forest trails of South America, *Ronhuberia* is a small, metallic tiger beetle of the Neotropical realm. This nocturnal genus contains just two species, hunting the forest floor under cover of darkness on bare clay-loam and sandy clay substrates. Named in honor of American entomologist R.L. Huber, *Ronhuberia* represents a quiet jewel of Amazonian biodiversity.
