DIAGNOSIS — *Dilatotarsa* Dokhtouroff, 1882 Body small to medium (7–12 mm), elongate-cursorial habitus. Head wider than pronotum; eyes large, protuberant.
Similar taxa: Resembles *Abroscelis*, *Antennaria*, *Apteroessa*
Etymology
From Latin *dilatatus* (dilated, widened) + *tarsus* — "dilated tarsi" (modified male protarsi).
