DIAGNOSIS — *Probstia* Cassola, 2002 Body small to medium (7–11 mm), elongate-cursorial habitus. Head wider than pronotum; eyes large, protuberant.
Similar taxa: Resembles *Calochroa*, *Calomera*, *Cosmodela*
Etymology
Named after J. Probst (German entomologist, co-author with Wiesner on Therates studies); feminine ending -ia.
