DIAGNOSIS — *Cylindera* (Eugrapha) Rivalier, 1950. Body 7–14 mm, elongate-cylindrical, metallic. Nocturnal; bare sandy substrates. Separated from *Cicindela* and *Callytron* by aedeagal morphology and reduced scape setae.
Etymology
From Greek/Latin *cylindrus* (cylinder) + Cicindel- stem — referring to cylindrical body form; coined by Westwood 1831.
