Pogonostoma

Overview

*Pogonostoma* (Leptopogonum) is a small subgroup of Madagascar's remarkable tiger beetle radiation, with species living on the bark and wood of living branches and stems. Reaching up to 16 mm, these metallic, cylindrical beetles are nocturnal hunters; their larvae develop within bark burrows.
