Thopeutica

Overview

*Thopeutica* is an Oriental genus of tiger beetles distributed across Southeast Asia and Sundaland, favouring bare sandy riverbanks and clay-loam substrates. Metallic and fully winged, these medium-sized beetles are nocturnal hunters — their name derives from the Greek for "one who ambushes."
