DIAGNOSIS — Odontocheila Laporte, 1834 Body 10–16 mm, robust Neotropical Cicindelini. Toothed elytral margins (odontos + cheile = toothed margin).
Similar taxa: Resembles *Brasiella*, *Brzoskaicheila*, *Cenothyla*
Etymology
From Greek *odoús/odóntos* (tooth) + χεῖλος (lip) — "toothed-lipped", referring to dentate labrum.

Active September–March (peak Oct–Dec)
